Stuart has been serving South Orange County, CA residents as Advanced Ear Care for nearly three decades. He has helped literally thousands of people improve their quality of life by effectively fitting them with appropriate, quality hearing instruments, and recommending a personalized follow-up plan that he believes is critical for individual best results.
Since 2003, Stuart has been repeatedly elected as the Secretary for the Hearing HealthCare Providers (HHP) of California. As Secretary, Stuart has often lobbied before the state legislature in a continuing effort to provide the best possible hearing healthcare environment and service for those who have hearing loss.

He is dedicated and committed to the hearing impaired, having gone on charitable missions to fit underprivileged children with hearing aids through the Starkey Foundation's Mission team, "So The World May Hear". He has been recognized as "Citizen of the Week" and has a fine reputation among his huge clientele, with local Laguna Woods residents, with his colleagues and peers, and in his church and community.

Brandon Spencer – Consultant

Some of you have already met the newest member of our team, Stuart's son, Brandon. He joined our staff after extensive training at Starkey Laboratories' Center of Excellence in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, the American hub of hearing aid manufacturers.

Early on, Brandon made an impression on Bill Austin, the Founder and CEO of Starkey Hearing Instruments. Mr. Austin offered Brandon the opportunity to come to Minnesota and work alongside him to learn the business from the ground up.

Part of Brandon's training included two mission trips with the Starkey Foundation, a non-profit organization that fits children and adults with hearing aids at no charge. One mission was held in Guadalajara, Mexico, where Brandon helped fit 2300 children with hearing aids, and the other at the Oregon School for the Deaf, where the entire school, the staff, the parents, and others who needed to hear better were fit with new hearing aids by the Foundation. The trip was featured on TLC's Extreme Makeover.

Energized by the excitement of people responding to sound for the very first time, Brandon was completely hooked. He committed himself to learn everything he could while under the master tutelage of Bill Austin. Brandon was given intensive training at Starkey's Center of Excellence where he helped fit celebrity Lou Ferrigno and others who have complicated hearing losses. Brandon has proven to be a very competent help to us.

Phyllis Ritner – Consultant

Phyllis came aboard with Advanced Ear Care as a hearing aid dispenser in October, 2008. Having been around hearing impaired friends for a good number of years, when it came time for a career change, Phyllis invested time and study into helping the hearing impaired. She came to Advanced Ear Care to intern under Stuart Spencer and became such a compatible member of the team, she never moved on. Phyllis brings a strong computer knowledge and customer care background with her that works well together with her knowledge of hearing loss and skill in fitting hearing aids. She is a warm and friendly presence and has been effective and helpful in fitting people with hearing instruments and adjusting them for customer satisfaction.

Sherill Fox – Office Manager and Customer Care Coordinator/Marketing Enhancement

Sherill has been with us since September, 1996. With her warm and friendly customer service skills and careful attention to detail, Sherill helped grow Advanced Ear Care from a two-person office to an evolving staff of six. Most often seen at the front desk assisting patients with cheerful enthusiasm, it's hard not to notice dual computers and numerous sticky notes on her desk as she multi-tasks her way through the day. Handling innumerable duties that range from greeting and caring for the customers and their hearing aids, to a myriad of administrative tasks, to writing the monthly newsletter, to co-creating and implementing marketing ideas and tools, to writing, directing, producing, and editing television commercials, to wrapping birthday treats for the patients, to decorating the office or coordinating the carpet cleaning, Sherill has her fingers in six different pots at any given moment.

Sandra Pamula – Accounting and Insurance Coordinator

Sandra came to Advanced Ear Care in December, 2005 and has played an important role in organizing the Accounting Department. Efficiently handling a myriad of duties including Health Insurance Claims and Benefits, Sandra also handles all sides of Accounting: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll, as well as coordinating many aspects of our Marketing and Advertising. As a liaison between Vendors, Advertisers, Accountants, Insurance Companies, our Computer IT guru, Travel Agencies and many others, Sandra can be considered our answer to the "Missing Link".
